We've stayed at Bearadise several times and absolutely love the cabin and the surrounding areas. The cabin is equipped with everything you can think of to make your stay a real enjoyable one! I completely would recommend this beautiful retreat to everyone (except whenever my family can be there)!!!

Your cabin was absolutely beautiful!!!Our weekend there was perfect and we will definetly be staying there again in the near future! It was so relaxing and just great. Karen, Bearadise provided the ideal setting for us to get away for a few days, just relax and celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary. The place is so peaceful and so well supplied. The weather has been absolutely beautiful with warm days and cool nights. Unfortunately the fall colors haven't yet peaked but it has been gorgeous anyway. I'm sure we will be back.

I was just wondering if you do one-night reservations. I am a youth leader at my church and I am wanting to do an overnight girls retreat for some of my teen girls. There would probably be just a handful to go, but I wanted something special for them so we can hang out and have a girly night and vent to each other and relax. Is this a possibility? My husband and I went up for a day trip to get away from the real world for a day. It was a beautiful trip. We had such a nice day just relaxing and wandering around the property. It was so cozy and clean. We will definately be going back and bring friends!

Our vacation at Bearadise was Wonderful! My sister took us for a "girls weekend" and it was paradise. The view is absolutely amazing. We visited a few shops near by and just relaxed and enjoyed the nice weather. We'll be planning another trip soon. Thank you again for the perfect vacation.

Bearadise was a perfect place to get away to. Cabin was clean and very peaceful. Each morning I watched as the deer played in the woods around the cabin. The firepit was great to sit around at night. This is a place that I didn't want to leave.

I'm Cindy's boyfriend Eric from Australia. Just last week Cindy and I and Rebecca returned from spending a fun time at Bearadise. I was impressed with the place, as was Cindy, who absolutely loves bears and rustic settings. The views from the Bearadise log cabin of the Blue Ridge Mountains are fabulous. I really enjoyed the time I spent up there taking in the rustic surroundings and atmosphere. Of the wildlife that I viewed while up there included deers, a coyote, chipmunks, rabbits, and squirrels. In the evenings with the sun going down provided the perfect backdrop to enter into the spa and let your body soothe to the warm calmings while soaking in some of the best of what mother nature provided with the sunsets dropping over the mountains. Shopping at the close towns of West Jefferson and Boone are a trove for the nature loving treasure hunter. I have always wished to spend time up in the mountains in a rustic log cabin and enjoyed it immensely.

We went to Bearadise on the honeymoon we never got 3 years ago. When we got there, my husband saw the cabin and surrounding area and grinned from ear to ear. We had the best time! The cabin was adorable and perfect for us in every way. We went gem mining, ziplining, cave exploring, and sightseeing all within 20 minutes of where we were.

We loved every minute of it and can't wait to get back again.

You have everything you need there so if you forget to bring something chances are it's there. My wife and I spent three days at Bearadise Log Cabin. We had an amazing time while we were there, and the views were beautiful. Also we had a very strange encounter our second night, someone came knocking at our door. We were a little scared at first, but when we saw who it was we were surprised. It was a large Black Bear who came to see us. He was big and beautiful, and it was amazing to watch him. The cabin was great and the surroundings, and the owner was great to work with. All in all we a wonderful time.

So the bears knock on the doors..i hope my hubby don't see this all he wants to do is fish..he already said he was skeptical about the mountain and bears. I said, "hon, really we live at a camp ground in New Bern NC, there are snakes and a few alligators..HELLO?" LOL we go in september and cant wait!!!

What a wonderful place.....went for three nights and wife did not want to leave. Since she has MS, it worked out wonderful in that she did not have any steps to worry with and the cool air was wonderful. We went to winery and I just sat back and watched her have a wonderful time.
All in all, I would recommend this to anyone, young or old, it is wonderful.

My boyfriend and I went up to the cabin this past weekend to celebrate my birthday and the cabin was just wonderful. Everything was clean and I loved all of the decorations in cabin. I took my husband here for a birthday surprise on Sunday, and we just got back home yesterday. He can't stop talking about how much he enjoyed this private, secluded, hidden hide away. To be able to enjoy the mountain all by ourselves, with warm October weather, no hustle and bustle of work life, no kids or dogs to take care of, what a wonderful treat. The quaint town of W. Jefferson was amazing. This cabin is the perfect get away for any couple, young or old. This will now be our October husband & wife retreat. Thanks Karen for having such an awesome cabin!

Karen, the cabin was amazing! Really more than we expected to be honest. This was our first trip to the mountains and my husband was unsure if he'd like it, but he actually fell in love! We will definitely be returning! Thanks again!

Another wonderful week in the High Country. Irma blew through but even that could dampen the usual wonderful time at Bearadise. Already made my reservation for next year. As usual my dog had a great time, saw lots and lots of deer most everyday there. Great food and friends at the town tavern. All together a wonderful week, with perfect weather.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The decor makes the place feel so cozy and homey and the cabin was well equipped and comfortable. We were able to see a little sprinkle of snow the evening before we left and it was just gorgeous! It really made our little vacation one of the best we've had yet! I will definitely be visiting again (:

The bearadise cabin was wonderful! 5 stars! We will definitely be going back. The cabin has everything you need for the perfect getaway! The view from the hot tub is amazing. It is so quiet and relaxing.
